1. THE LION KING:



 

It was the most successful animated Disney film ever made.It is still the highest grossing traditionally animated feature film of all time. musically and visually. A period which broke record multiple times within a decade with musical based on existing stories. it has since been remade into theater production that is among the top ten longest running performance in broadway history and traveled the world.This film deserves to be placed among the top three simply for the amount of success it has attained as well as the amazing scenic imagery and music which today's animated film either lack or forgo for a cheap laugh.


2.      SPIRITED AWAY:




If you have read any list about great movies you have probably heard of spirited away even if you have not seen it of yourself . another fantastic film from the mind of director Hayao Miyazaki this is one that many anime fan considered their favourite. Released in 2001,Spirited Away took home coveted best Animated feature prize at the academy awards.

This was another case of Miyazaki nailing the combination of telling the  compelling story with an impressive animation style. Fans and critics everyone loved it.



3.   YOUR NAME:




Another recent entry to the list, your name hit theater back in 2016. it was critically acclaimed japanese fantasy animated film,giving the country another feather inits cap when it comes to this genre.Directed by Makoto Shinkai,it is about boy and girl in high school who swap bodies.

that premise may sound like something we had heard before as body swapping is not uncommon in cinema history. however,none have done it quite as well its name received widespread praie for its visual style and for the emotional weight the story carries.
